It is unfortunate that most people give the credit to any monumental construction to the Architect and sometimes to the MEP designer while the Structural design is unnoticed. We will try in this page to show some structural design for Concrete and Steel elements to reveal on some formulas and method of design for all people to acknowledge the complexity of this overlooked science. The provided sheets are designed in compliance to American Code and British Standards. Also, we will show some Structural drawings and details which they look simple on drawings but they might be hard to execute.
Mechanical Engineering
